Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 12, 2026

1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Command Operations & Readiness Engine ("C.O.R.E.") uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website and authenticated application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and server-side session identifiers. They help websites function, remain secure, and remember preferences.

3. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always active).

  • core_session — HTTP-only authentication cookie that maintains your signed-in session. Expires after approximately seven days of inactivity or when you log out. Cannot be read by JavaScript.
  • Security and routing cookies required for load balancing or CSRF protection where applicable.

Functional (limited).

  • core_remember_email — optional local preference storing your email address on the login form when you select “Remember me.” Does not store passwords or session tokens.
  • core_cookie_consent_v1 — records that you acknowledged this Cookie Policy on the public site.

Analytics (optional).

  • Firebase / Google Analytics measurement cookies may be set when analytics is enabled for your deployment, to understand aggregate usage and reliability. No advertising profiles are created from C.O.R.E. operational data.

4. What we do not do

  • We do not store JWT session tokens in localStorage or expose them to browser developer tools.
  • We do not sell cookie data to advertisers.
  • We do not use operational personnel data for third-party ad targeting.

5. Managing cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for secure sign-in and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features. You may block or delete optional cookies through browser settings; doing so may affect login convenience or analytics but will not prevent secure session cookies while you are actively signed in.

To end a session, use Logout in the dashboard or clear site data for C.O.R.E. in your browser.

6. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete cookies per site
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Enable “Do Not Track” (effect varies by browser)
  • Use private browsing modes that clear cookies on exit

7. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology or legal obligations change. Check the effective date above for the latest version.
