Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and C.O.R.E. governing access to our public website and authenticated platform. By creating an account, signing in, or using any feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Access is limited to individuals authorized by their unit, organization, or platform administrator. You represent that you have authority to use C.O.R.E. for your assigned role and that registration information is accurate and current.

C.O.R.E. provides tools for personnel visibility, readiness tracking, messaging, training coordination, document management, and command reporting. Public pages are informational; operational features require authentication. Features may change, be suspended, or be limited during maintenance, upgrades, or security incidents.

C.O.R.E. is a complement to official DoD, service, and organizational systems—not a system of record unless expressly designated by your command. Users remain responsible for compliance with applicable directives, regulations, and official reporting requirements. Decisions with legal or operational consequence must rely on authoritative sources.

• You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and devices used to access C.O.R.E.
• Sessions are established through secure server-side cookies; do not share access or attempt to bypass controls.
• Notify your administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate access for suspected compromise, policy violation, or inactivity.

You agree not to:

• Access data or areas outside your authorized role or unit scope
• Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization
• Interfere with platform integrity, availability, or other users' access
• Upload malware, unlawful content, or information you lack rights to share
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access except via approved interfaces
• Misrepresent identity, rank, unit affiliation, or readiness status
• Use the platform for personal commercial purposes unrelated to authorized duties

You retain responsibility for information you submit. You grant C.O.R.E. a limited license to host, process, and display content as necessary to operate the service for your unit. Leaders and administrators may access personnel data within scope of their permissions.

C.O.R.E. software, branding, documentation, and underlying technology are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant ownership rights except for a revocable, non-exclusive license to use the platform as authorized.

The platform may integrate hosting, email, analytics, or monitoring services. Their use is subject to their respective terms and our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party sites linked from public pages.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, C.O.R.E. AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless C.O.R.E. from claims arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for security risk, Terms violation, or legal requirement. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Provisions that by nature should survive (liability limits, indemnity, governing law) remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies to U.S. government-related use. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before formal proceedings. Where permitted, disputes shall be brought in courts located in Puerto Rico.

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
